Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is in a convenient location, although it may be tricky to find from the Jersey Turnpike. The rooms have a strong cigarette smell but are supposed to be smoke-free. You can enjoy traditional Italian dishes at the dining area, but it lacks some basic breakfast items like sugar and cream for coffee. Service is top-notch with staff who speak both English and Spanish. The facilities offer fresh coffee and some snacks, although there is no designated eating area. Price might be a bit higher due to additional food options in the room.
The hotel was not ideal for travelers, as it smelled like human urine, and there were some issues that were not suitable for travelers. However, I did like some aspects of the room despite the initial disappointment. The staff directed us to our accommodation promptly.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were nice and cozy, but there were some missing pieces from the ceiling which was a bit off-putting. The service was excellent with staff replacing anything I requested promptly. However, the initial interaction at check-in was incredibly rude. The location seemed peaceful but not perfect for travelers seeking central convenience. The dining options were lacking, with only coffee available in the room. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel provided seasonal salads as a dining option which was a nice touch.
The hotel had a strong cigarette smoke smell in our designated non-smoking rooms, and the cleanliness left much to be desired with holes in the bedspread and dingy towels. However, the Wi-Fi improved in some areas of the hotel.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, but there was a strange smell of human urine in the room. On the bright side, the price was reasonable. The service was a bit hit or miss, with staff willing to change my room but seeming annoyed when we arrived late. However, they were nice overall and could communicate in both English and Spanish. The location, although seemingly peaceful, was a bit challenging to find using GPS apps like Onstar, Waze, Sygic, or Google Maps. The dining experience was lackluster, with coffee available but lacking sugar and cream. Additionally, the absence of a proper eating area was compensated by providing coffee, packaged muffins, and energy bars in the room, but this came at an added cost of $35 to $45 per night. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel had some potential for improvement for next year's trip.
The hotel is located in a convenient spot in New Brunswick, but in Dajton, offering peaceful surroundings. The staff were accommodating and flexible to last-minute needs, although the major roads accessibility could be improved. The dining experience was basic, with only coffee provided. Overall, there are some positives but also areas that need attention.
